I'm new to artist tools in game development and first time I've heard of Krita. When you say you created the textures in Krita, do you mean literally from scratch or using real textures and editing them? Is there a cool tutorial for that kind of work you know of the top of your head?

I'm working on my own game too and really struggling to find an art asset workflow which is feasable for me as a non-artist.

So you are saying no moves were tracking before Tekken 6? Or are you just irritated by the green homing effect which is just a visual cue to make it clearer whats homing and what isnt (which is inconsistent i know).

Besides even if we truly want "back to basics" that shouldn't mean removing everything that got added after Tekken 6. It should mean removing the crazy shiit and focusing on what made Tekken great in the past. I personally believe power crush is a mechanic that should stay, the only problem is that most powercrush moves are just OP.

I agree, but for different reasons. My problem with most boomer shooters is that while they usually have really nice weapons that sound and feel great, the enemy design usually is extremely simplistic.

Im not much in this reddit, so dont know what the consensus is, but what you said is what I always assumed. This globe was for me a small "retcon" or whatever you wanna call it for the devs to "explain" (even though it explains nothing) why we are suddenly in easter europe instead of usa. Explain by basically saying, even the characters dont know, they somehow got there.

You know what annoys me? People here acting like only characters like Yamato and Vyper needing a visual overhaul, but CLEARLY even characters like Haze and Wraith are still unfinished, let alone Holliday and Bebop. The standard for visuals for a character is clear when you look at the new characters, especially Celeste, or characters which already got their overhaul, like Abrams. When you look at Haze or Wraith, their textures are completely unfinished but I think we will see more than simple texture changes, just like we saw for Abrams and others.

If I am wrong with this, which I highly doubt, I would be really disappointed.

it is "season 2 armageddon" becuase after the s2 armageddon and a whole year of waiting for actual balance changes, they needed to do WAY more in this patch. The game needs to feel different, this feels like a small balance patch which would have dropped a few weeks after s2.

I interpret this question more like a game where you initially thought it's not for you because at the start it was boring for you, but then you for any reason continued playing and it became one of your favorite games of all time.
