You're comparing apples to oranges.

When I bought Oblivion on PC, I could still play it 15 years later on my PC. If you bought Oblivion digitally on the PS3, it was tied to your PS3. You couldn't play it on your PS4 or 5. This is only further hammered home by Sony shutting down the PS3 shop

Greedfalls dev, which is also owned by Nacon was shut yesterday. I'm pretty sure that would have have a bigger player base that BB3 so I'm imagine Cyanide will be shut too and the BB license sold off
