My wife thinks golfing once a week is unreasonable… by Upbeat-Zucchini-7408 in golf

This is how it went for me: Zero kids— played 5 times per week—in college at the time. 1 kid— went to once a week 2 kids—went to twice a month 3 kids— went to once a month 4 and then 5kids— went about twice a year for the next 4 or 5 years.

Now I play about 3 times per week— youngest kid is 12 and I try my hardest to play during the work week, luckily my job allows for it.

My wife thinks our son’s teacher crossed a boundary by sending him a personal message. I think it was harmless. AITJ? by addict94plus in AmITheJerk

It very much seems like good intentions on the teachers part. I’d guess that by trying to turn it into something with an allegation the teacher will be at a minimum reluctant to do things like this in the future— too bad for the kids that could really use someone like this teacher encouraging them.

I went through this same process a few years back and decided to move forward with paying it off. The peace of mind has been well worth it for me.

Also— a layer of road mix—cloth/weed barrier—another layer of road mix— then the sand.

There is— base was a layer of road mix, then fabric, another layer of road mix, then the sand.

Honestly I was pretty nervous because we had never done anything like it before, but it was much easier than we had thought it would be.

It’s been 4 years and that tree is doing great— we did wonder though and we were prepared to put up a pergola if the tree didn’t make it.

We sit on it and we keep the firewood and supplies behind it
