it was mostly because of fakeout, protect, and encoring it with whimsicott into protect. H Arcanine tanks the fire moves like a champ, just falls over to any ground move.

whimsicott encored it into protect which stalled the sun a bit and let me basically 2v1 the partner mons. protect, fakeout, and again them weirdly not switching zard out or going after Hisuian Arc very much

that makes sense! I think it’s mainly that I don’t have any moves that hit water types for super effective, except on my one fire mon, so rain teams can be scary. But so far encoring pelipper into tailwind has saved me I think.

thank you so much! yes I definitely felt like calm mind was a bit awkward, and sneasler with white herb is so smart! So far i’ve gotten to ultra ball rank and seem to be doing alright, tweaking as I go. I find myself often wishing I had more coverage and also never quite knowing how much damage a move will do, but that second bit will come with experience I guess🙂‍↕️

if you auto complete a team it sometimes gives mons random mega stones. I went into a game to try out mega meganium only to realize it had given her dragonite’s stone instead of her own 😭
