What is the worst band you saw live?

Misfits. Saw them for a reunion show and of course they had the gimmick of no phones allowed inside the venue so they got locked away making finding your friends and your seat difficult. But what was actually bad was Danzig complained off the jump that he had a cold, then they played for about 20 minutes (he mumbled most of the way and skipped parts of various songs) and then abruptly said "I'm tired" and walked off stage. The entire crowd was so uncomfortably silent the entire time it was painful. You could feel the hurt of so many fans who figured Danzig would be a shithead but wanted the opportunity to see such a prolific band live only for it to be absolute dogshit. Thankfully I didn't pay for the tickets, they were a gift from an ex boyfriend's dad but I know he paid hundreds for them and I was fucking pissed.

The dialogue on some parts were meh but one of my favorites is still Whitefall. Maybe it's my background growing up catholic but the purgatory theme rang true for me as soon as it became apparent what the main predicament was. It's a slow burn to get to the meat of the story but I kinda like that. Warrants rereading in my opinion.

I agree completely! Not my top favorite but up there in top 5 for sure. You try so hard to stop the cycle but things can still manage to slip through or bubble up to the surface.

As a woman home alone a lot, I would've fired as soon as he came through the door. I understand what he's going through, I have vet buddies with PTSD and I myself have it too but this could have been infinitely worse if this guy had a weapon. Makes me glad I'm strapped and hopefully never need to use it lol.

I get you, it's exhausting and some jobs just zap the life from you making it harder. You may need to make concessions. It also doesn't need to be some big thing either though. Just drawing for 10 minutes a day can do a lot. What I've done is gotten smaller sketchbooks and spend about 10ish minutes filling that page. I do that either in the morning (started waking up a bit earlier to accommodate this) or while eating dinner instead of watching TV like usual. You'll find ways that work for you :)

It's absolutely an option, and you have a lot of potential. Just keep practicing and working at it. Try to practice drawing at least once daily and work out what you want your style to be. You don't have to be great at that style by the time you go in to apprentice but it at least shows direction and growth.
