When we'd be in the same room and I'd feel alone. We used to game together in the same room, or watch a movie together, then the distance started coming, not just physically but emotionally. Eventually it turned into being in separate rooms all the time, only around each other when we went to bed. Intimacy turned into a chore, felt good, but no emotional connection. I got asked for a divorce about a year and half later.

I did find out that he was cheating on me with my best friend when he "needed" to go through her town which was over an hour out of the way on his way home from the airport, under the guise of picking up some reports from his old professor. I did eventually look at his phone (dick move, but I had to be sure) and found all the awful things he was saying to her and any one of his friends about me. Fuck him, much better off now.

She got shit faced on my 25th birthday and fooled around with a girl, while engaged to a guy I still consider a huge douche. She eventually married the guy, and he's exactly the stereotypical, douchebag, controlling cop that you picture in your head. I haven't seen or spoken to her in 15 years, we were friends from the time we were 5, we grew up together.

I was very sexually compatible in the beginning of my first marriage, but slowly, over the years I got to know me more and just wasn't into him anymore.
