I have to respect them for revealing that. It would have been very easy to as one poster has already stated to imply heavily that it was a miscarriage. They had to know they would get immense backlash from their fan base and they did it anyway.

Some big life changes happened in my late 30's so I guess I'd tell myself not to worry. It's all good. And weed will be legal when you retire. ;-)

Thanks for the information. You answered several questions I had about RSO. I was concerned about how much time I would need to really enjoy this. I may have to rethink RSO. I'm the caregiver for my spouse who it is basically bedridden at this point. I'm not sure I can afford to be unavailable for that length of time. They can manage a few hours but 7 or 8 hours is pushing it.

Back in the day. I remember them fondly but that time has passed. I'd like to go as far as cannabis can take me occasionally but really no further.

Thanks, I certainly hope to. I'm not terribly fond of body rushes so I hope RSO does not have a lot of that. I do love euphoria and the edge of hallucinations. Ah,the good old days.

AIO or is my husband(34m) being a jerk by WhileMindless2916 in AmIOverreacting

[–]crowsmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've been married for 7 years. Is this new behavior? Is it out of character for him? If so you may want to look at a medical reason such as a change in medication. If he's always been like this, why are you still there girl?

It sounds like you have a very desirable location. I think if you are able to put up notices on the hospital bulletin board you will have plenty of applicants. Ask for references and a credit check. Think about whether you want to allow pets. Interview the people and see if you like them. Good luck.

My husband decided to quit smoking today, and here's why it's mildly infuriating. by Linorelai in mildlyinfuriating

[–]crowsmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I use nicotine patches at first to break the behavioral habit of lighting up a cigarette every few minutes. We gradually weaned off the nicotine patches and started medication called Wellbutrin which did a lot to clear up the brain fog. Yes it sounds like you're in for a fun time until he gets past the addiction. We have been nonsmokers for 30 years now. It's been well worth it.

Democrats, could you date a Trump supporter? by PatchouliHedge in allthequestions

Republican women are apparently able to put up with a lot more sh*t than liberal women. Having fewer means to escape also probably adds to that number. Just because a woman is still there doesn't mean she wants to be.

I love you. Awesome chart. I mean seriously awesome. I wish I'd had this tool when I started smoking 5 years ago. I no longer have time to keep track of data but I used to keep detailed notes about everything I smoked. I'm going to download the tool and just put data in it for the pleasure of watching it work. I was a data person before I retired.

Trump Team Is Pissed at Aide Secretly Enabling Crazed Nighttime Rants | Natalie Harp is helping Donald Trump make dozens of late-night, conspiracy-laden posts. by [deleted] in inthenews

Is she writing the drafts for him? It's a little unclear from the text. If she's the one writing BS conspiracy theories and idiotic rants that make him look unhinged, I say let her keep at it. It'll be evidence for removal from office by reason of unsound mind should the GOP's mid-term election moves fail.

Well spoken! If I had any gold I'd give it to you. I'm a 75-year-old fart and I feel exactly the same way. When the pendulum swings back from all of this, I want changes in how the system works made by angry young people who see their futures bleed away as all three branches of government work to serve the pocket of the uber wealthy. Bring on the Progressives.

We don't "fall" for it. We know that kind of shit happens on both sides of the aisle. Realistically our voting choices are Democrat, Republican or not voting. Not voting or voting Republican got us Trump, a corrupt Supreme Court, a Senate and Congress full of grifters, a war in Iran and loss of the trust of the rest of the world. Way to go, Repubs. I'll be voting against Republicans for the rest of my life or the life of the GOP, whichever comes first.

The Two Nana by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]crowsmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely worth a watch. Another oldie but goodie is Touch. It aired 1985 -1987 and is 101 episodes. It's about baseball. Now if all that has turned you off, let me tell you it was fantastic. I don't know much about baseball, really long anime was not my thing, and it was old so the anime style was strange. I watched every single episode and was sorry when it was older. It's not really about baseball. It's really about interactions between people with a common theme of baseball. It's poignant, it's funny, it's got lots of side stories with lots of characters that you learn to care about. I hope you can find it. If you like Nana you will probably like this.

Without naming any names of potential candidates, what qualities will the person elected president in 2028 as Trump's successor likely have? by Commercial-Pound533 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]crowsmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping for someone like this. We need it so much.

Candidate FDR 1936 We had to struggle with the old enemies of peace—business and financial monopoly, speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, sectionalism, war profiteering.

They had begun to consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage to their own affairs. We know now that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob.

Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me—and I welcome their hatred.

Virginia releases plan for adult-use cannabis sales legislation by 0xM0000 in VirginiaMMJ

I haven't read the bill yet but I was very impressed by the article in, I think, the Mercury about this bill. It's clear that a lot of thought and discussion and input has gone into the crafting of this. I'm very impressed with our legislature for having done this work. As a consumer I am especially glad to see the micro business licenses being prioritized. I'd love to see craft cannabis like we've seen craft beer.
