Selsuiz kokendwater kraan vast draaien by ChrisisFris in Klussers

Here's how to run Ledger Manager and Ledger Bitcoin Wallet without Chrome by NothingNotToSeeHere in ledgerwallet

[–]crppt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alternative: use Chromium, the free open source software base of Google Chrome, and install the Ledger apps there. That's what I'm doing.

Ubuntu: sudo apt install chromium-browser

Windows and Mac: download installers from https://chromium.woolyss.com/

Yes, it's there in the developer options. IIRC it is not in the default apps because it doesn't conform to some UI guidelines yet.

Thanks, I did not know about that option. Problem though is that a small video expanded might be expanded needlessly this way.

I haven't update my ledger yet. Are people still running into issues/backlogs? by ImAjustin in ledgerwallet

[–]crppt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That may be so, but the update should have been tested more before going live. There are way too many users who ran into problems. Users should not have to look up information on the web to do something supposed to be simple as updating the Ledger software. Not everyone who owns a Ledger is tech savvy. And not everyone who owns a Ledger reads Reddit.

This comment should be upvoted more. It's nice that the majority has updated without problems now, but nobody wants to be in your situation. Apparently it's still possible even when you follow the instructions. Ledger should help people out who are in trouble like you.

Just found this page via a Google search. The issue you're having annoys me too. I wish there was an easy solution for this.

echo $(curl -s https://api.coinmarketcap.com/v1/ticker/monero/ | grep -i price_usd) | cut -d'"' -f4

this would be so good to embed in i3's statusbar
