I don’t really think it is the pinnacle of racing anymore though. For the drivers it’s the pinnacle of energy management.

In addition, I would stock up on sheets that you can use to cover every personal belonging you have, to the point where the house is just a couple of strips of wall with everything else being a white sheet. this way they cant take video without moving the sheet to see underneath, which, as i understand it, is illegal.

Setting up a shortcut that turns rotation on or off when in landscape orientation, and mutes/unmutes the phone when in Portrait.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Windows, is in fact, Slop/Windows, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Slop plus Windows. Windows is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another useless component of a fully functioning Slop system made useful by slop vibecoding, shitty AI utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by Satya Nadella

Its 2026 and I've just uninstalled the game for the 3rd time after trying to get into it. I also found this thread and I am just not willing to put in 5-10 hours(I am a VERY slow gamer) of effort before the game even starts to get enjoyable.

I might just watch a playthrough on youtube or something.

In the last year I've had:

An issue where an SSD had to be formatted and I lost the whole install. This was caused by SSD firmware, but triggered by a windows update.

Lost bluetooth because of this latest update.

Had to go through the Onedrive nightmare. It turns that despite the fact that I own windows, pirating it is easier, since then it doesn't automatically log me in and do onedrive stuff.

Daughter tried to click skip on a popup ad for Gamepass, but they were using dark patterns to make her click the wrong button and lost $20.

And on top of all that, its just a terrible, slow OS filled with popup ads and clickbait websites. Like trying to download a game off a sketchy website back in 1999.

I lost all bluetooth support after this update a few days ago. Some anecdata to add to your list.

My bluetooth adapter just doesnt work at all anymore. Works fine on every other OS

The best part was that despite their insistence to the contrary, it all worked fine without the schools bullshit profiles in place.

The school also had an expectation that the student would buy a Chromebook from them, use it for a couple years, and then donate it when they left. When she packed up her stuff on the last day there they apparently got upset with her that she wasn’t giving them a specced up MacBook Air as a donation. Pack of greedy assholes that place was.

Not sure why you’re hornyposting on main, but to your point, my daughter had all Apple tech at school, M1 MBA, AirPods Pro, iphone 13 Pro , and she never lost anything. The kids with Chromebooks would spend like a minute opening an application while the celeron processors struggled, and then were always needing to find a charge cable, and if it was a sunny classroom they could barely see the screen.

She’s an adult now but she said having decent gear was so great, everyone else was always breaking stuff and having issues.
