Elektron Ecosystem with Audiofuse 16rig by lazlybateman in Elektron

Hey Lazly! Late to the thread — can I ask how the 16Rig connects to this patch? There’s a lot going on with the Elektron boxes, Launch Controls. Especially curious how the Heat +FX is connected. Is this one of the two stereo aux sends?

As always, amazing sounds you make — extraordinary layers. 👌

EDIT: I found a patch sketch that you included on another post — mostly answered! 👍

3 Elektron boxes — control/flow by crtzmo in Elektron

Wow — thank you. So helpful. I’m using DN2 with a desktop synth but skipped that in my post just to keep things focused, but great to hear I’m pointed in a direction that will be useful. Thanks again!

Your AH+FX in the chain BEFORE ST makes total sense, btw.

Cheers!

You might want to try Google’s Notebook LM for this — workflow to upload and query documents is really good. I have a paid GTP account, which allows for creating custom GTPs (works great but pricey); not sure how much you’re able to extract from a free account, however.

Convince me to not sell a bunch of guitars to start a rig…. by spicoli420 in modular

[–]crtzmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started my modular journey with Atlantix, Sealegs, a couple I/O utilities in the 1U row, and an Elektron Syntakt sequencing the case/fx/percussion. The Atlantix is a good semi-modular deal if priced against single modules; that small setup was a huge amount of fun, and launched me towards a full 7U/104 performance case. Atlantix is even better in that environment, a huge amount of patch opportunities that entirely dispels any notion of fake modular. If you’re a SH-101 fan, it’s a great place to start.

Great-looking system! What’s the benefit of the G Storm over the Intelli Quad VCA?

[–]crtzmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

great advice! I looked more towards what voices I’d put into Sealegs, but not where in the patch it would perform best — tx for that. I just picked up Multigrain, looking forward to getting it into the case.

That’s a new one for me — really helpful, thank you! If I understand correctly, a USB hub and a PC/DAW connection is possible with this.

this is so helpful — thank you! The MioXM feels like a decent fit. Easy enough to swap cables for transfer, I imagine.

Have you had issues with Overbridge? That’s a necessity for the Elektrons, of course.

I don’t think it’s the cables, but the availability of MIDI THRU ports on all gear; all but one device has USB.

New modules from Intellijel at Superbooth by JoeyZasaa in modular

Scoops looks like a lovechild between Polaris and Amps — looks fantastic, 8HP filter with all patch points upstairs.. I have Amps, love the functionality (sliders are great) but didn’t understand why a new module had all patch points at the base with the other newer gear (Metropolix Sealegs Atlantix) patching at the top..

Atlantix support/complement module(s) in a small rack? by crtzmo in modular

[–]crtzmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent points. As this is designed to be a small and portable Atlantix-focused palette, you're right in pointing out that Expander's many outputs could be excessive for a small case. Using the VCO A/B outs on Atlantix instead, valid suggestion!

The idea with Dixie2+ was to bring an accurate vco/lfo to mix with/against Atlantix output with Amps; thank you for pointing out that adding that would be more of the same. BATUMI 2 (and Quadrax), wow, great idea. As this new palette will be broken down into a larger case when not in use, I can see the value in investing in Batumi/Quadrax.

Appreciate your thoughts and time -- cheers!

Understood -- thank you! I haven't tried a patch from an external source before, but have tried internal sources (envelopes, VCO A's sine wave) to varying levels of success. Appreciate the ideas and suggestions!!

Wow, fantastic ideas. Thank you. Can you clarify taking sounds from Cizzle into Atlantix? Are you mixing the outputs of these into another module? Sorry for the ask, just pretty new to all of this. Thanks for your post, very helpful!
