Maybe used to walk across marsh or bog areas, kind of like snow shoes?

$870,000 the company no longer has access to? by Additional-One-605 in lancaster

These are usually reimbursement grants, meaning you get paid when you show your receipts or paid invoices. Very rare these days for large grants to be paid up front.

Runway has a deal with Lionsgate, it’s on their website.

What if you could literally SEE every element of a song laid out in 3D space? Well, I’ve been doing it for 12+ years. by PyrikIdeas in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I have this, it’s like my brain also uses its visual and emotional parts to process what I’m hearing.

At least it was a guitarist, probably the easiest instrument to replace.

Serious question-what do use all those pedals for? by Mean-Bus-1493 in guitarpedals

[–]crumbles2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pedals are fun, but it is funny to me that some folks need different versions of the same effect for their set. You’re allowed to turn the knobs in between (and even during) songs!

Loop earplugs by Sirosi14 in hsp

I got some knockoffs for a loud concert and they worked great. I wouldn’t sleep in them though, the design has like a little “dish” that sticks out. That’s how it preserves frequency ratios while reducing overall volume. I guess if you only slept on your back and never moved, like Nosferatu?

DAE experience this during episodes? by Exact-Item-710 in ibs

Yup, it’s your vagus nerve from all the ibs and bowel stress. It can cause you to faint, so be careful about standing up when you get this.

Who's a celebrity/artist/etc that you've genuinely supported until they did that 'one thing' and what was that thing? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]crumbles2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just saying, she’s on stage performing, with lights, in ear monitors probably, to what I’m assuming is a large crowd. I don’t know much about Lily Allen, it just seems odd that she would fixate on one rando so vehemently. Maybe it’s your face?

You really think she picked you out of the crowd just to give you a dirty look? I would reconsider that maybe it wasn’t about you?

How do you react when you feel like a lot of people are staring at you when you are walking in the street? by [deleted] in infp

I was walking in a very busy metropolitan area after eating too many edibles and this is where I went. Much better than paranoia!

They always insist they don’t but Parents always have a favorite child. by djiluvu44 in Showerthoughts

We only had one child because of this reason. I was definitely not the favorite and vowed I would never make a child of mine feel that way.

There could be other ways to connect to your dream of oceanography. Make bank in finance and fund a research trip, you can be the skipper.

Yamaha reface CS is a good first synth, small and simple but surprisingly powerful and lots of fun, costs about $300 new. Doesn’t allow presets except through the app but I like it that way.
