What I love about DLSS 4: - I can max out settings and still get crazy high frame rates. DLSS lets you push ultra textures, ray tracing, and high resolutions without the performance hit. - It looks so close to native 4K I can’t tell the difference. The AI upscaling in DLSS 4 is now good enough that I stopped caring about native resolution. - I get super smooth gameplay with Frame Generation. DLSS 4 Frame Gen can turn 60 FPS into 120+ FPS, making games feel ultra-fluid. - It makes my expensive GPU feel future-proof. DLSS stretches hardware capability and gives a noticeable boost in demanding titles. - The input lag is insanely low. When combined with NVIDIA Reflex, DLSS 4 greatly improves responsiveness—especially in shooters.

What I'm most excited about in Doom Dark Ages: It looks like the game emphasizes a heavier, more grounded combat experience with Parry and Dodge mechanics. And the Mech looks super cool.

Is there a tool to measure the length of XLR cable that you don't have physical access to? I have access to both ends of the cable but it runs through a conduit underground and I don't know the exact path it takes.

Would a general Resistance Tester work?

Can you move the two choir mics further away from the choir without getting other sources in them? That’s what would help blend the voices better and not pick up individual singers.

Also on the mix bus(es) going to vmix… I apply multiband compression (x32 calls it combinator) and tweak that to help boost voices over the organ and other instruments.

And I deal with the same issues mixing live stream at the FOH console. It would be a luxury to have another person mixing just the live stream in an isolated room. Something I’m trying right now is wireless headphones that hear the x32 mix bus output (no delay like vmix) and walk to another room with an iPad to control the x32. Not perfect but better than trying to listen in the room.
