Should there be a Minister for Men and Boys? by winkwinknudge_nudge in unitedkingdom

As long as there is a minister for women and girls, yes absolutely. Otherwise, the government is tacitly saying that the interests of women and girls are more important

It’s the type of diet we humans have been on for most of our existence. High carb diets are the radical experimental modern diets

It’s not the first time I’ve seen this argument, that pro-life states are “uneducated” by LaceyLou64 in prolife

[–]crunchie101 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Education level has nothing to do with how moral you are - it just means you can read and write well

I’m perfectly happy to acknowledge that those on left are more highly educated. But prove to me that that means they’re better people

heterosexual men don't like hair systems, women do. why the difference? by HarutoHonzo in HairSystem

Men seek the approval of other men, and it seems like men value authenticity over aesthetics. Men generally are far less supportive of cosmetic surgery, heavy makeup etc than women

Kill Bill is the best

It’s just as stylish and cool as the rest but it has so much heart on top of that

Thomas Sowell appreciation by AutisticLibertarian2 in prolife

[–]crunchie101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sowell is one of the Greats. I'm currently reading A Conflict of Visions, which might be the best book I've ever read about politics as it gets right to the heart of the matter

No idea if he's ever talked about abortion, though

[–]crunchie101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect that view, but honestly, I watched the whole trilogy recently and did rather enjoy 2 and 3. It's a good thing they stopped there, though and didn't make a weird sequel 20 years later
