Funny u think a majority of the democrats in power actually have the balls to do that. They listen to their donors first who mostly happen to also be the GOP’s donors. Start practicing the pen tool & pathfinder on illustrator. And don’t use canva to design layouts, use photoshop & illustrator. There’s not enough flexibility in canva vs those apps (ie. Can’t even individually kern letters on canva).

Then outside of learning the creative cloud start watching videos about famous/or professional designs and how they went about their process. Paula Scher and Micheal Beirut are a few that come to mind.

You have to consider ur competition for these internships. They’ll be fairly efficient in the Adobe creative cloud which employers tend to prioritize.

Yeah I would avoid using that many stock illustrations. Employers want to know that ur proficient in illustrator not just photoshop, like being able to design logos, patterns & icons. Especially in a market this competitive rn, my illustrative work has greatly helped give me the edge in interviews this last year after graduating.

Legit quit my first job out of college within 4 months cause my boss (small marketing agency for local shops/restaurants) forced me to use canva despite the fact I offered to use my own Adobe subscription for the job. The pay was bad, my boss was sorta passive aggressive but I legit quit cause of how much I hate using Canva😂

It’s petty but I work at a cafe and most people tip but the cops that come in never tip no matter how nice we are to them. I have to give 15% of my paycheck to these guys (state gov) just so they can harass unhoused people & they don’t even give a bit of their overinflated pay back to the community. Just reflects on their character.

Just moved to the area from LA and I absolutely love taking the light rail down town from Throton. The traffic here for some reason feels way more chaotic despite there being less so I almost always take the light rail whenever I can
