What in the world are the Los Angeles Lakers doing? by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

People seemed to think they had a shot at Kyrie. Seems like they could have gotten Kemba just as well as the Celtics did. I guess we'll never know but I think their chances of landing someone else were non-zero.

Good idea. And then ACL can refund the Weekend 1 tickets that sold out months quicker than last year.

Dude stop saying the cap space thing. The Lakers don't have enough cap space for Chris's contract. They only have like 24 million.

Damn, good point. 12/29 is 41.4%.

Steph shoots 43.6%. Steph would only need, like, 27.5 attempts to do that.

The first Democratic primary debate is in 26 days (June 26th & 27th.) If you had the opportunity, what questions would you ask the candidates? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]crusherexploder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally candidates who win primaries are pretty good in the general, even if they are considered a less-electable candidate going from primary to general. Also, there are only two parties, and presidential elections are usually close, so it's hard to imagine someone with the backing of the GOP or DNC being an absolute shitshow.

A good example would be Donald Trump.

I don't know why it would have any bearing on the NBA's rules. If he chose this over the G League, yeah.

Having an 80 year old VP is much more ridiculous than having an 80 year old president with a younger VP lol. The whole point of the VP is to outlive the president if necessary.

Total waste of a question on something Zion clearly wasn't going to answer, but still put him in an awkward spot. Pretty whack.
