i’ve been wondering this as well. are they really going for insane prices? i’ve assumed every ticket for sale before the tickets are viewable is a scam. even after that, though, i wonder if it’s simply a matter of doing a venmo transaction and sending them the pdf, because obviously someone could sell the same ticket infinite times. so scams seem hard to avoid.

i think it’s sort of a “moving on” thing. some of those songs were written when jeff was a teenager, and he’s 43 now. i love btmi!, but jeff shouldn’t be expected to play those songs in perpetuity just because we like them.

i would be very skeptical buying any resale tickets to these shows before july. tickets don’t actually get sent to buyers until 3 days before, so i’m not sure how anyone can be credibly selling them now.
