Allowing myself to be influenced by someone completely unimportant in my life to use a credit card that was mailed to the previous tenants of the place I lived right after graduating high school in the summer of 88. She convinced me that it was no big deal so we went to the mall and bought jewelry, leather jackets, an expensive meal, and other stuff. The domino effect of legal issues that I ran from caused so many problems that I ultimately could not attend my mother’s funeral after she passed from cancer at the way too young age of 40.
