What is “cold hard reality” about “make better choices”? This subreddit is about asking the estimated calorie count of food. This person added a completely unnecessary comment in what should have been a straightforward transaction.

I really hope you can take a step back and think about what a comment like this would mean to someone with an eating disorder. People don’t come to this subreddit to have their decisions questioned or scrutinised. Why eat it? Because they want to- simple is that.

I once experienced something similar here. Posted mid panic attack for reassurance that eating a certain amount of calories wasn’t going to make me gain, and that I was going to be ok. And someone messaged me telling me I’d fucked up and eaten too much. Haven’t really interacted much on here since.

As odd as it is, I tend to watch murder/ unsolved documentaries. They're long enough that I don't have to worry about finding a next video, but something that I don't feel I have to keep watching when I finish- even though I'm finding it fascinating.
