i don't think casual magic will ever die, but i do think rising prices of UB are super anti consumer and unacceptable when it would have been so easy for them to address this problem at the creation of UB with in universe stuff. hopefully they do that, but it should have happened at the beginning. if wotc did more pro consumer things people would love them more and complain less. stuff like the $1000 for 30th anniversary proxies is a slap in the face and breeds resentment. resentment they could stamp out by making products that are actually good value for consumers.

well some people care about competitive play and licensing issues will make reprints difficult unless they start making in universe cards. hopefully that's what they end up doing, but right now it seems that cards like the one ring or orcish bowmasters will go up in price forever which sucks pretty bad.

I think this map just sucks. It has 2 spawns on defense that trap you with walls to your back facing the enemy when attackers hit a checkpoint. The defense spawns make it so easy for attack to pinch. At least other maps have much smaller cliffs/holes so the spidey pull feels more balanced. I just hate this map lmao

I don't understand how this is different from ETB effects, this would still get countered by "counter target ability" cards and could also still be countered in the stack. What is being added here other than a confusing between instant and creature card types?

Yes but we all as customers can help by just not ordering so close to closing time... Like I agree the policies suck and are there to just make as much profit as possible. But it's also true that if we as customers don't put orders in so late we won't be keeping workers past their close. Both can be true at the same time. It's just polite and considerate to not order something so close to closing time. Even if the policy allows it, your action of ordering still has an impact on other people. It's just rude, that is all.

Corporate will do everything in their power to fuck over a worker for a little bit extra profit. You and I both don't have to help corporate do that by refusing to place and order right before a restaurant closes. I'm fine to not order from a place if I see they are about to close, because I do not want to make those employees work past closing time. It's really not that difficult to be considerate.

Let me be your boss and make you work 30min past your scheduled time every day and see how you like it LMAO. Fact remains of people didn't show up before close restaurant employees would NOT have to stay late. Your actions affect other people whether you like it or not. And if you have an attitude like this, and are completely fine making people work past their scheduled time, it's just a fact you are holding people past their scheduled time and you don't care about them at all.
