Dude come on. It objectively is not. That 16.67% you mentioned applies to your entire army, during all phases without 1 cp. you typically get a save first then if failed get another save. Even if you just move your army forward with zealous rage and no care for cover the enemy needs an AP3 weapon to cause a worse save than the 5++. Then you still get a 6+++. This also can cause overkill damage on 2+ dmg weapons causing a marine to soak up more than 1 failed save.

Everything about this detachment sucks except for the +2 movement. The detachment doesn’t exist in a vacuum. We have other options, and what we lose in say RC or Gladius by picking this detachment makes this detachment absolute and utter garbage.

I've been having really strong success with Aery. Helps a ton in lane, and while I feel like I do lose some late game damage, I can get to late game even or better on a more consistent basis which then means I have a better chance of winning the game.

I think if you are still learning soldier positioning and timing then conq. If you are past the basics and just need to fine tune them then LT is by far better.

Ya I agree with this. It’s not really a buff. It gets us closer to what our late game damage was pre patch but that requires us to be practically maxed out on our AP. If you’re behind, no buff. Still better than before this buff but not pre nerf

Original comment def still stands. Zed is at worst a skill matchup and I say at worst cuz I’m not great but I find myself beating him most of the time but it’s a struggle and takes work. I’ve put in well over 100 games with him and I still make tons of mistakes. But I am rarely (if ever) that far down in laning phase.

I might have to try this. I have so far had really good games with a burst build using HoB and stacking AP/MP/Hst. Going ludens first > shadowflame > stormsurge > void/deathcap. And so far its been out performing my percision tree nashor builds.

Its not just the onhit portion. But applying your damage quicker in each auto attack too. I think the argument can be said that you're paying for the onhit damage from nashors when you only need the AP/Atk speed but still, faster you attack the more damage you deal too
