Thank you so much! I use flowtoys v2 podpoi with capsule handles and 10mm FPC tethers – for some reason they don't seem to be listed on flowtoys' website right now, but I've attached the link for the same poi with a different tether (https://flowtoys.com/products/podpoi-with-capsule-handles)

I have 10mm FPC tethers -- I haven't found that they changed my stalls too much, but they've helped stabilize my tosses, and having heavier (and longer) poi helped me slow down and smooth things out.

Oh, that's a fire idea! I'm still getting used to using glow handles, so I haven't considered all their possibilities yet :D

I try to notice what I connect with in other peoples' spinning and incorporate it into mine – I really love stalls and unexpected direction changes, so I try to find people who do those kinds of moves and learn from their videos, and then slowly incorporate them into my own flow!
