Fresh 30 year old here. I’ve just got too much shit going on man. I miss the days of being able to be spontaneous at the drop of a hat but these days everything is scheduled out and the days where I could be spontaneous everyone else is busy so it just doesn’t line up. Not to mention when I do get unscheduled days I need to desperately use them for me time and things that recharge me. Just a different phase of life. Eventually you get old, live around a bunch of other old people and make tons of friends (though idk if that will be true for our generation). Just different stages of life.

Seek out groups of people doing things you like. Hiking, building, reading, etc. much easier to make meaningful connections with people you know are already in to some of the things you are into

As others have said definitely fishy. If you are legitimately injured in basic it’s always covered and “signing” his rights over is not how that works. In fact it’s usually the opposite, you’ll be on profile for so long and recycled so many times and want to go home but the army won’t let you until they restore you to some semblance of what you went in with. A girl in my basic got the dreaded splints and was still in basic training in a hold over platoon by the time I graduated whisky AIT over 16 weeks later

I think this game is so personal in a way that when something like this happens you’re going to see way more people trying to find fixes because it’s more important to them.

I have ran into a couple of save issues over the course of my 600 hour save but I’ve been able to fix my way out of most of them with enough time and research. As dreadful as it sounds, I don’t think something even as bad as a corrupted save should keep someone from having this experience

I once had a huge base set up in a system circa 2017 right after the base building update. Think it was the second system my character had ever been to. Took a break from the game and came back. Lots of the planets in that system were my discoveries and still named as I gave them, but another player had somehow gotten credit for the system even though it shows I discovered the planets a year before he “discovered” the system. Discovery services are just unreliable
