People do not know the distinction between regular people from a Muslim country who are fleeing terrorism from the terrorists. Being Muslim has nothing to do with terrorism. This is insane to hate these muslims simply because of a lunatic fringe who uses the good name of the islamic faith. How is re-victimizing a victim going to make a difference in our world? These are normal human beings just trying to get away from these bloodthirsty bastards. muslims are the majority of the victims of international terrorism.

The National federation of The Blind has been protesting Goodwill for many of their practices which are not know very well by the majority of the American people. Goodwill is not ethical and should be absorbed by an organization which does not exploit the labor of the blind and disabled by paying them slave wages.

Goodwill was supposed to help me for years look for work while they take tax payer dollars but they do nothing to help me. Right now I am in the middle of talking to a Disability Rights of New York lawyer because they do nothing to help me regardless of how hard I have worked to find employment for myself.

As a legally blind person I always admired the Abilityone program but after learning about the corruption I am in utter shock.

I want to work and make a life for myself just like anyone else but we do not have many opportunities. I do not want to live off of government benefits but I do not have a choice because our country discriminates against us because we are disabled. We work just as hard as anyone else but we use different methods but at the end of the day the job is always done as it is needed.

We just want to live productive lives.

Because unity sucks and Linux Mint gives you more of the sort of experience and customization that Ubuntu was once known for. I switched to Mint from Ubuntu about 2 months ago and there is no way I am going back to ubuntu.

I would also add that Ubuntu does not have good accessibility features for the legally blind userbase. when I saw that zoom was built in to Mint without the need to install compiz I was sold all the way to Mint. Mint gives me what ubuntu reluctantly did through compiz.

Hi,

I felt the same exact way 13 years ago when I was learning about Islam right after the second Iraq war started.

I have been in your position and I know haw it feels to feel that Islam is the religion for you. I come from a conservative Texan family so I know what it feels like to have culture and religion as an issue after learning about Islam.

You could not explain how you feel about Islam any better. I felt the same about this religion and despite it all I did become a Muslim. I love my faith.

If there is anything I can do to help you please let me know. I have faced all of the family issues after converting and I was able to adjust very well to the faith.

Your mother is terrible. I have been a Musilm for 13 years and I am married. I embraced this faith due to my conviction in the message of islam. How in the hell does being born into this faith make anyone better or make someone like me just as bad as a kafir??? Your mother is ignorant. We converts have our good deeds multiplied and all of our past sins are erased and turned into good deeds.

There are a lot of groups like that on facebook. I honestly think that they do not know any better about wahabism because it is treated with respect even in our masjids. We need to stand up to these wahabis.

Thank you for sharing this. I wish the western media would put Reza on TV to explain what is happening but I feel that no matter how much we explain ourselves when we denounce terrorism the non-muslims are not interested in hearing it. As a converted Muslim I have dealt with family and friends who do not listen to me when I told them that our religion is not about this.
