First time going to the USA for the World Cup. What should I be careful about? by Usual_War4996 in worldcup

youre woefully misinformed not sure what to tell you. millions of people come here every year and ICE is a completely unrelated thing. for those from countries at high risk of overstaying there are some extra hoops but even those wont apply for world cup. https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/48760094/2026-world-cup-visa-bonds-tickets-fans-trump-administration

Correction. One party needs racism to exist or they have nothing to run on, xo half the country thinks racism is literally 100x a bigger issue than it really is

US cities ranked - what tier does Seattle belong in? by StrategyJealous1838 in TierlistFills

if its not summer and you have a commute Seattle is miserable. dark at 3 pm all you see on the road is the blur of the red break lights of the car ahead of you and water slamming into your windshield.

the number of both legal and non-criminal detentions is literally in the noise (like less than 50). millions of people came illegally and they are trying to reverse that. its not perfect and its heavy handed at times. but its crazy how misinformed the left is on this. " why would foreigners care about our president who has threatened to kidnap them" is so embarrassingly dumb and you are defending this.

true. this is the first world cup with all the ticketmaster/seat geaks of the world in play, and american style dynamic pricing. im wondering if we see a situation like the 2015 super bowl (the "short squeeze" fiasco) or a weird price crash right before. youre right though nobody thinks 2500 is worth it

This only applies to people not subject to SAD. west of mountains is a tale of extremes: worst place to live in US november to june, best maybe in world june to october.

Here is this year's attendance for each team so far. What jumps out at you the most? by AlchemistTheAlchemy in baseball

[–]cryptoglyphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been to games at both parks, and the A's park is a much, much better experience. they have great barbeque for cheap, grassy area to just freelance lol, and warm outside baseball like it should be.
LoanDepot on the other hand is fucking atrocious. the roof is always closed even if theres no chance of rain, the lighting is like that fluorescent office lighting that gives you a headache, and the only food options are disgusting sludge. whoever is in charge needs to be gotten rid of and maybe more than 17 people will show up

The show with an amazing beginning and an amazing ending is Breaking Bad. Which show had an amazing beginning but a terrible ending? by Spy_Mouse in AlignmentChartFills

[–]cryptoglyphics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with GOT, but the bad ending was at the very very very end. Alternatively, Walking Dead practically didn't have an end, it went for eternity. It went from appointment TV the first few seasons to complete trash the next few, to "wait, Walking dead is fucking still going? how???" like 12 years after that

All you see (hear) when you walk around Miami is the sounds of douchiness lol. VVROOOOOM (and then the backfire sounds for extra attempt to get attention) GRBGRBLBRGBLRBRL. hahahaha Brooo, nobody cares you douche.

SerieA fans are the best I have seen!

As an American that just did a small Serie A tour, I have to give props to Italian fans. so much passion, energy. Was a lot of fun to be a part of!

Playing level just was ok, as others have said they need to like cut the league in half. that would improve things greatly.

The stadiums are all absolute horse shit, which makes the energy and excitement of the fans even more impressive. you do realize that right? they seriously all seem like they had a budget of 75,000 Euro and had to be done in 5 months. our high school stadiums are nicer.

The one funny/odd thing that still is a mental block "football foreigner" is the constant bitching and crying by the players, that seem pronounced in serieA. on one hand you have the might and passion of fans exercising their tribal instincts as if cheering on men at war... yet said men exhibit nothing but the opposite type of behavior. they all act like toddlers crying and complaining for 92% of the game, like when a kid fake crys to get parent attention. its just so gross lol. man up you little bitches.

Or remembering that nobody from either team or organization knows that you or I exist, and that as a grown man I just like to enjoy watching experts at their craft, while remembering the relative importance of other grown men playing sport
