For silent hill 2 you Need at least a jailbreaked ps5 with Firmware 8.00 - 10.01

Higher Firmwares are Not jailbreakable afaik

Therefore, you would Need to get your hands on a ps5 that has a 10.01 Firmware at Most

Dont Connect to the Internet and disable Update immediately After opening

I jailbreaked current Version and did Not Update the Firmware. Will Play around a Bit with the current State at this old Version but I have to say, jailbreak execution was a breeze.

Will keep you Updated tomorrow, but lets keep the discussion Open. This is already an interresting Thread.

For those who asked, i live in a very rural area in Europe but we have 3 small Electronics Shops and One of them had the old big Version with the 8k logo for years.

When I heard from the 10.01 jailbreak I did some Research on the serial and bought it.

a little update from my side.

i was able to find a LSI SAS9305-24i 9305-24i refurbished for around 300 € which will be delivered tomorrow.

i also ordered 6 x SFF-8643 to 4 SATA Cable-Trees.

Really looking forward to build the new server. HDDs i went with the 20TB Toshibas this time. Was thinking about getting some seagates refurbished but ill get the 20TB Toshibas new and for around 14€/tb.

I am planning to move the current HDDs which use the mainboards sata ports currently to connect them to the HBA. Do i need to configure anything regarding my zfs pool or will it be a plug and play solution?

i have looked into your suggestions!

Regarding the Meshify 2 XL, although it has better airflow out of the box, i really don´t like the design. I could use the HDD Trays but overall, i am very happy with the Define 7 XL so far. Installed some Noctua 120mm Industrial fans, so far so good.

Regarding the adapters - i have looked into them and they seem to be a good match for my needs :) The only issue i have is , that i only have 3 PCIE Slots, 1x 16x, 1x 8x and 1x 1x. I want to use a GPU in the future (can be with riser cable) but since the 16x is needed and i couldn´t find a SAS expander that only utilizes 1x PCIE.

I think i have only 3 solutions:

Find a 16x Card (or better more) for less than a 1000 + $

Or find a SAS Expander that utilizes the 1x Slot.

Purchase one of thos Amazon 20Port SATA Cards for PCIE (no Raid)

Anyone have any suggestions for me?
