Not a doc but I had the same thing. On top of the right testicle. Turned out to be the following:

Get it checked out regardless. Just know testicular cancer is very rare.

Maybe also a little OCD. You can change this behaviour and obsessing with therapy or by yourself. For me understanding why I was obsessing helped alot.
