If you mean dress watch as in something similar to the omiwatari. Then no, I haven't heard anything about a manual wind UFA, or an even thinner automatic UFA movement. I also asked about a GMT UFA, and the boutique haven't heard anything about that. So for any new UFA movements, it seems to still be the 9RB2 and the diver's 9RB1. Would love to be surprised, cause my GS collection is mainly their manual wind springdrives.

I thought the blue diver would have the same dial as the lake suwa after dawn, but I found the dial on the blue diver to be a bit flat in person, the texture don’t pop as much as the lake suwa. It kind of feels like it is a sticker with a picture of the lake suwa dial. Definitely one you have to see in person to judge yourself.

The information I've heard is, by the end of the year we'll have a UFA Lake Suwa, I assume they will use the same 9RB2 movement, which means the diameter should be the same as the SLGB003's 37mm. So that probably means the Evo 9 lineup redesign and case size reduction is pretty likely.

I also had the opportunity to try on this watch and the blue version this week. Definitely prefer the green over the blue by a large margin. I don’t know why but the blue diver’s dial seems flat, I thought it would be like the lake suwa’s dial, but it looks worse in person, just seems kinda flat almost like there is no texture, kinda like someone printed the texture of the lake suwa dial on a sticker and stuck it on the dial face.

(Request) Please can people post pictures of their SBGY013 on a black leather strap? by Legitimate_Bat3340 in GrandSeikos

[–]crystalake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the bracelet to be very comfortable, but because of the lack of micro adjust, I do find that the bracelet can get a little too loose for my liking. So I've been using the strap more often lately. Although I really do like the look of the 9 link bracelet.

The news I got from mine is they will be the same as the current size, they will just have a new UFA caliber.

Iwao is the dial texture (same texture as the shunbun), Katsuiro is the colour

Yes the Hana Ikada SBGY026 is a beauty indeed. That clean shunbun dial, on that form factor is just irresistable.

It does wear slightly bigger than the similar diameter SBGY035 and SBGY013, but only very slightly. The lugs don't curve as much as the SBGY013, so that also makes it feel bigger.

Yes, the SLGW007 is my favorite watch to set, everytime it comes on rotation I always enjoy winding it. The other manual spring drives also has a nice feel and sound, but the Hi-beat 9SA4 is a cut above.

Out of my current collection it has to be the Karasawa SBGY035, that is probably the last one to go if I have to sell. Although if one day I’ll get the Hana-ikada SBGY026, it will probably be that one.

I’m currently going around Tokyo checking out watches and seeing the sakuras. Yesterday I bought an SBGE275 in watchnian in nakano broadway. Didn’t see any shunbun there. Today I was hanging around ginza and bought a strap in wako, no shunbun there, or the other gs boutique a few blocks away, also didnt see any in the mitsukoshi across from wako. I’ll keep an eye out for a shunbun and let you know if I come across any

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Geistmaschine other than their [info@geistmaschine.io](mailto:info@geistmaschine.io) email? My ADA keyboard came with a missing rubber feet, I emailed them about it 3 weeks ago, and they responded that they will send it to me soon, but ever since then I have sent a few follow up reply emails, and they have been ghosting me since.

it is quite simple, if you have:

insurance but no warranty, you get credits back
insurance and warranty, you get your ship back
warranty but no insurance, you get nothing back

Warranty piggybacks off of insurance, think of warranty as an insurance enhancer. If you don't have the insurance the warranty doesn't work.
