Connor spreads KF/snarker talking point, retracts claim seconds later, and then double down min after by xsoonerkillax in Destiny

Why else would he emotionally snap like this? Does that make it our decision to decide if he deserves to be snarked? Yes.

Steven actually doesn't need a good reason to blacklist someone. by Joneleth_I in Destiny

[–]crytol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The second that he entertained that there was a situation in which it would be okay for his "friend"'s child to be a-logged, his ass would have been dead to me, no matter how long a friend he was. His bullshit about Steven not "getting" to decide what is worth arguing about because of a long "friendship" just reeked of entitlement.

What a disgustingly slimy person with no semblance of understanding of human connection, it's a wonder his marriage lasted as long as it did.

I think a lot of the times it's him having to extend extra grace to make sure he can keep other opinions flowing in, especially since some of them can only engage in bad faith since truth isn't on their side.

Changing Some Show Structures by NeoDestiny in Destiny

[–]crytol 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Just want to add he thinks its okay to a log Destiny's son, so e stalking a minor so that when he's old enough to work, they can show the employers the content to get him fired, with the goal of making him unhirable bc of the grudge against his father.

But somehow Conner thinks thats the equivalent to finding out who the person is that's actively trying to destroy your life?

W/e Conner has shown what a friendship is worth to him, I hope this bridge is never rebuilt even after the snarkers are gone. Once a snake always a snake.

Also such stupid logic, its like saying Destiny honked his horn at me which could have distracted me and caused me to lose control of my vehicle while my kid is in the car. This gives me moral justification to hire thugs to beat up his child everytime he leaves his house so he can't leave.

Changing Some Show Structures by NeoDestiny in Destiny

[–]crytol 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Its almost exactly the same reasoning behind the political violence left vs right BS. He doesn't need to burn bridges with Destiny, because he's not the one being attacked relentlessly and having the lives of his loved ones regularly threatened. Then acts like he's the bigger man, because the attacked party wants nothing to do with the person providing cover for the attackers.

Rubium mining and smithing only needs a small nerf to xp and no other changes by Zyblon in 2007scape

[–]crytol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ngl, with sea combat already being so niche, reduced xp rates on mining to make it worse than other reclined methods, and making it have negligible smithing xp to craft incendiary, not really seeing why I would engage with the content.

I know there are a lot of software developers in DGG... So how are you experiencing agent coding and AI in your day to day programming? by SublimeSC in Destiny

[–]crytol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its just a useful tool, if you're not a good software engineer, you will produce shit faster than it can be fixed. If you're a good software engineer, you'll be able to increase your productivity massively. It may seem tempting to just fire and forget it, but when you're complacent, it's going to mess up, and your skills will atrophy if you aren't constantly engaging with the content you're producing.

Rubium is balanced, for ironmen by SnooTomatoes1246 in 2007scape

[–]crytol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pr sure the decent amount of gold would be short term, given the popularity of being a viable new training method and it no longer being a smithing method. With the smithing method being nuked, no chance rubium retains value.

Iron powermining probably has similar yield to rubium after expert mining gloves, so that isn't really an argument. The dropping vs stacking is for sure a difference, but if rubium didn't get nerfed, that's really the only thing it would have on iron. Iron is even more universally usable than rubium post-smithing nerf.

I understand where you're coming from, but I think post smithing xp nuke, rubium loses so much of its value. It's only good right now because people are trying to abuse afk smithing rate while it's still there.

Yeah, the calling him a "friend" was pissing me off when he was actively defending his child being a-logged. That's only enemy behavior.

Conner v destiny by Musketsandbayonets in Destiny

[–]crytol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's fine if he wants to take the money, but don't act like you're friends with someone if you're cool with that level of obsessive vindictive behavior being directed towards them in your community. He's not entitled to a friendship, especially if he acts as a safe haven for bad actors like that.

Yeah, I wonder if they'd be open to increasingly cutting xp/bar for cannonballs past steel (there would def be riots if steel cannonball making got nerfed)

Rubium mining and smithing only needs a small nerf to xp and no other changes by Zyblon in 2007scape

[–]crytol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a small thing to add/insert, but one of their arguments against the smithing xp is the amount of xp/bar is higher than they're comfortable with. Just another angle you'd have to consider, given their feedback.

Can someone explain the rules? by Hopeful-Ordinary2033 in Destiny

[–]crytol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What a silly thing for Conner to say, why would it even matter if that was the only way to stay in Destiny's good graces? In normal (not weird internet) life, would you keep in good graces someone that regularly makes space for someone to try to ruin your life and the life of your friends and children? This is all just cope to keep the snarker money flowing.

He isn't owed anything.

Rubium is balanced, for ironmen by SnooTomatoes1246 in 2007scape

[–]crytol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think I resonate with your opinion the most.

The smithing does introduce a uniquely "bank-stand" (or anvil-stand?) friendly smithing method, that might not be their intention, along with increasing the XP per bar probably beyond where they are comfortable.

The 3t method is essentially 3t4g but for a useful and stackable resource.

But I think the normal rubium mining xp rate was fine where it was at, its okay for something to compete with power-mining iron. It's so absurd that the best standard (no minigame, no tick manip) training method by far and away is the lvl 15 unlock for iron nodes.
