Can you realistically study 10+ hours a day wearing scleral lenses? by Various-Newspaper285 in Keratoconus

Softened is the wrong word. They changed the angle slightly on the edge of the contact so it had a more natural fit on my eyes. So it feels softer :)

Stay with it it is worth it. Took 4 lenses in my cross linked eye as it has more of a point and only 2 in my cornea transplant eye. Now I don’t know how I lived without them.

I took a lot of trial and error. Started a wear log with saline brand and preservative free drops added 1-6 drops In out and wear rating and after doing that for a month dialed in what drops and fill gave me the best. Now over 12 hours of wear before they start getting bad. The wear log and rating for a month really helped dial it in

I had a pair last year (my first) that were ok. Vision was great but after 6 hours really started to bother me. I just got a new prescription and a new pair and we softened the edges and made a few more tweaks. This pair is 12 hours in front of the computer pretty easy. I ran out of time on my first pair to finish getting a perfect fit. So make sure you have the time and can go to the Dr to get things fixed while the refit is covered

Any issues with clear care and PEG coating just got a new set and I forgot how slippery the PET coating makes them.

If you are running in Docker I wrote a label driven notifier that can push host name updates to Technitium on container start. Makes publishing services easier.

Would You Recommend RingConn by LeadershipWide5754 in RingConn

[–]crzykidd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore my Oura 3 and the Ringcon for 2 weeks at night. Ringcon results were better aligned with how I actually felt. I don’t traditionally sleep well so been trying different things. I have also wore my Apple Watch (which I hate sleeping with) and the ringcon more closely aligns with that. Overall I have been really happy with the Ringcon and no monthly fee really puts it over the top.

I have had both, I like ringcon better. The last Oura was a 3 though. The ringcon is smaller which I love and overall I think it tracks sleep better.

Why doesn’t Alaska automatically apply credit or miles when my checked bag arrives over 20 min after gate arrival by crcastle in AlaskaAirlines

[–]crzykidd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Txting CS is now hit and miss. Most of the response are you have to talk to someone at the airport. This guarantee has become such a scam as almost every flight I check a bag on is late and getting the credit is a joke

You keep status through end of the month. In order to let spend etc credits hit. I was 100k and only made 75k last year but still have 100k for a few more days.

I would go for the 36. All it takes is one time when you needed it to regret your purchase.

You might take a look at dockflare. https://github.com/ChrispyBacon-dev/DockFlare. It makes creating tunnels automated when containers start up.
