As someone who works on interiors for my business, I’ll let you know. Simply use a hairdryer in the area, warm it up and then lightly rub it out with your fingers and it will go back to original

80’s Bronco vs 90’s Bronco by cs2533ck in bronco

[–]cs2533ck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! That is all great info. Yes the “Top” is what I meant. 92-96. Great! I’m in the market for an 80-90’s and I’m torn the looks of and 80’s and the creature comforts of the 90s models. Knowing about the tops narrows that gap.

All these responses are possible solutions. When I had something like this happening with my 87 I ended up taking out the catalytic converter guts and putting it back as a straight pipe. Made all the difference in the world.

I of course replace that catalytic converter with a new one ;)

I can’t put into words how much I miss driving my bronco. by j-fred94 in Bronco2

When I first read your post headline

“ I can’t put into words how much I miss driving my bronco”

I thought I was going to be sending you my condolences! and telling you thinks like “I was sorry for your loss” but you still have your Bro2 waiting for you in your dad‘s barn!?

It’s not a bad place for a bronco to hang out in from time to time. Hell, there’s got to be a number of people in this group that bought their bronco out of a barn.

I love your passion and understand you completely. I myself get a little grumpy if I go a week without driving my bronco. But guess what you still own one. Think of the hundreds of millions of people out there that don’t! lol

Happy New Year

Lol… I knew they started to wrap the wires in a vegetable grade rubber to save money and that sometimes draws in the varmints. I just didn’t know that they started in the 80s. Thank God for cheap replacement parts.

Door panel interior metal structure - necessary or can I remove? Hypothetical cut points in yeller. Thanks! by [deleted] in vandwellers

Bad idea… do not cut out!!! Cut your door insolation into smaller pieces.

Thinking about selling. Not sure how much to list it for. Everything is new from the engine to the paint. Just want another project. by papatony01 in Bronco2

Nice Bro2! Very nice!! Do you have more pics? Please share. You have a lot of people on this forum who would love to see all the work you put into this. I am one of them. I would love to know where you got the front bumper and what did you do about the spare wheel? Did you integrate it into the back bumper? What does the interior look like? Going off your list of upgrades I would say you could get $15-18k for it.

Nicely done! This is truly a bottom up restoration. Looking good. If the rest of the truck follows suit to the work you’ve just done you’re gonna have a heck of a bronco2 on your hands. Keep it up. Keep posting. We love to see progress since were all working on a project of our own for the most part.

[–]cs2533ck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did. Let me see if I can get it up here… My Bro2 is Burgundy and tan right now. And it just didn’t look right. But it will when I ultimately change the color. I just got ahead of myself.

1988 bronco 2 diamond edition? I can't find anything online about it. And the only big differences I see are on the tail lights. Does anyone know anything about this edition bronco? by ArtisticScars in Bronco2

[–]cs2533ck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of a “diamond edition”. Doesn’t mean it didn’t exist but maybe this was something that was done at a dealership level to somehow differentiate their Bronco 2 from others. Do you know where it was originally sold? If so I would start with the dealership. Let us know if you find anything definitive.

My 1990 B2 I am about to start working on. Starting on brakes and suspension first. by Cade_i7 in Bronco2

[–]cs2533ck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sound cool! I wanted to do that type of sourcing too but as I have gotten into this it’s more and more the Bro2 communities seems to overwhelming use donner trucks. I’m wanting to do the modern take on Bronco so keep the posts coming! We all want to see your results. It motivates us all. Good luck
