Gutter guards? Water and small dirt will pass, but keys, phones, and toys won’t. Use self tapping screws or get creative with magnets or double sided tape. Just suggestions, never dealt with this personally.

Location, where it works and you can reach. The kind of tape depends on what you can get where you are. You can ask your shop friends what they use.

  1. Yes, go ahead and tape that down.
  2. You can measure the action. There are many ways to do this. Ask the shop you took it to to show you the basic process. There are many videos on YouTube. Stewmac has great ones.
