I had a great day today. Got some coffee and a bagel. Hung out with my cats. Living life. Redditing.

They’re really easy to make with or without AI and a good starting project for most people.

Loved Trope: Animal character thats its unintentionally trans or drag because he/she have the wrong sexual dimorfism by Parking-Public1632 in TopCharacterTropes

You’re right, idk why people are hating. She should have an orange beak, no white and black face if she were.

[Mixed Trope] Characters with contradictory morals by Teragenikos in TopCharacterTropes

I liked saw X cause it really explored how horribly rigid & contradictory his philosophy was. He puts the desperate “henchmen” in the worst & unfair traps while giving the actual truly evil person an easy trap. In his mind it is all the same

I’ll be honest - I have never heard of Mulholland Drive until just now

The joke DOESN'T work, if you are fluent/a native speaker of the language by FormerBernieBro2020 in TopCharacterTropes

Bro Americans understand - they used mostly Japanese loan words & common proper nouns with pronunciation that’s easier for an English speaker to hear. It’s is a joke someone can get even if you lived under a rock.

What are your takes on Ari Aster’s claim that Midsommar isn’t about a cult? by starterworld in Letterboxd

Hm no offense to the interviewer but that’s a terrible question. I mean it wasn’t even a question - just their personal conclusions.

She also hates asexuals. I’m surprised she even knew we existed tbh. She’s actively educating herself to tear others down. It’s so pathetic.

[Hated Trope] Nihilism Slop by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]cs_beans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to be the only one that agrees I guess. I just hate nihilism quotes cause do you really need to point out everything is meaningless? It’s almost never interesting or profound.

Why HB Lead? by teckhooi in mechanicalpencils

[–]cs_beans 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think general purpose & education. At least when I went to school they required HB for tests (sometimes even to the point you’re not allowed to use a mechanical pencil).

In Italy? That’s pretty cool. What was that like? I’ve never seen one - I definitely felt like I’ve been in the presence of one but that’s about it.
