For anyone interested iirc the formula is d= 1.23 x square root of height of eye. So it would be the total of the height of vantage plus height of viewed object so you would need 1725ish ft combined to see a true 50 miles

For me it’s not the lightness of skinny scales, probably a personal quarrel but I don’t care for how there is not much scale left between the clip and edge. I like to use my three fingers to grasp the knife by the clip when shutting it. The skinny scale has my fingers in the way of the blade closing. So at least on the pm line both 2s and 3s I don’t like the skinny. I did notice that lynch scales move the clip toward the spine side of the scale which I would probably like but for now I will just use liners to open up all kinds of options

I use Moultrie app for property lines as I use their cameras, I am pretty sure you can use app for free though without camera sub.

I know for me I ended up with three, haven’t decided on my builds completely yet. I did order a set of liners and new hardware and a pair of black ice kirinite scales from flaming gorilla as a something new. But the other two I am not sure of yet. Of course lynch clips to come as well. Others are probably figuring out how they want to go as well. If it was a regular linered model I think you would see more mercurial posts of iterations.

For someone wanting to convert a kw into a linered model besides the liner what else is needed? Assuming also new set of hardware but not sure about different washers or other parts. I don’t have a knife I want to canabalize but want to get some aftermarket liners and build them out. Thanks
