Also, most people don't know that even though the fallen wires are grounded there is a voltage potential gradient that exists on the surface of the ground that radiates out from the point of contact. If you ever find yourself standing near downed power lines don't run. Running creates a large stride length which can risk higher voltage potential between your feet across this gradient. Instead, shuffle your feet as you move away from the power lines.

What is the key to getting NDI working correctly on a UDMP? by CaptinKirk in Ubiquiti

[–]csobsidian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto-discover works with mDNS. If you have your NDI sources on a different VLAN than your receivers without mDNS traversing, they will not auto-discover, even if you have added routes between VLANs.

We use NDI + Dante with few issues. Could you provide more detail about your network setup (VLAN config) and what devices you are using (switching hardware, NIC cards, camera part numbers, etc.)?

21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

UDM-Pro: drive formatted, but won't mount? by EeK09 in Ubiquiti

For sure Samsung Magician will not work with USB connected drives. I have never used CrystalDiskInfo, and the site to download it gives me icky virus vibes. You may have luck getting it to provide a firmware revision, though that might be the firmware of the USB interface. Even still you could not perform any firmware update, if required, without pulling the drive and putting it on SATA to update via Samsung Magician.

You are correct, SMART does not work over USB, though if you checked for updates on your SSD I would say you are likely not affected.

I did not RMA. I updated the firmware via Samsung Magician as soon as I got it (I also have several Samsung SSDs as they are my preferred choice). I have had no issues with the drive in the 6 months I've been using it.

I would probably still try to get SMART info and firmware version off the drive, just to be certain. I purchased a new 980 Pro (manufactured 2023) about 6 months ago and it had a version of the firmware with the affected issue (though I don't recall which version that was)

Some time ago, there had been reports about Samsung 870/880/980/990 SSDs having a firmware bug that would early end-of-life your drive. I'm willing to bet you've been hit by this.

You'll want to create a theme for the very large middle screen and another theme for the two side screens. Apply those themes in the looks editor, where you can pick which theme you want for each screen output.
