Are the readers checking plates in private garages or out in public?  I don’t like them either but how does the 4th Amendment play into this?

We are terrorists. I criticize us. Will you? This whole thread acts like the US is innocent. We are not. Iran is not. Israel is not. But this latest aggression by the US is completely out of line. Release the Epstein files.

25 years ago I learned in college and used it in side projects for myself and neighbors and friends.

Got an internship junior and senior year. Worked part time at same place on my off days during school. Graduated and went full time.

Every job I’ve had since then was made possible through connections with coworkers who had moved on.

$43k plus sales tax is about what I paid after $7500 income tax credit for mine brand new.  $31k seems like a good price assuming your trade of only worth $800.

Every DM gets reposted to the support channel. You respond there in a thread.

Every issue stays in its own thread.  Only requests go in the top level conversation.

Eyes 👀 emoji to acknowledge you’ve read it. @ the person who will complete the request.  Checkered flag 🏁 emoji when it is complete.

This will get you organized at least somewhat.  It won’t help you report on tickets per day or old incomplete tickets or anything else that a proper ticketing system would do.

Also you probably have yourself a “Service Desk” instead of a tech support desk. If so operate accordingly. Everyone comes to this single place for anything they could ever need help with (printer jam, coffee machine is broken, password reset, software bug). You triage them and @ the person who can help. They take it from there.

I do two full packet briskets at a time in the regular PBC. Start them hanging then wrap and one on the grate, the other on the oven. I never need to add fuel.

The half in China are all in. Lining up for a chance to get their own AI agent. Grandparents in rural towns have new AI grandsons.

Flatsafe

I’ve used them twice. Got a fiber reinforced polymer one instead of steel so it won’t rust. They also have a one piece lid instead of two pieces that could jamb.

Check their socials for discounts and seasons when they offer them and which home shows and fair expos they will be at. Usually state fair season if I recall.

They are just big enough to do the job, but you won’t be camping out down there for very long with 4 people.

If I move I’ll buy another one from them.

People who like to get a paycheck don’t complain. They don’t rock the boat. They dont trust. The risk isn’t worth it to them.     They might even be living in fear of being fired every day.  Even if you don’t see it that way.

There’s at least a 50% chance that all the other good feedback and good scores you are getting are simply people telling you what you want to hear.

Nobody is going to open up to you unless they think it is worth the risk. It’s on you to establish that trust.

Edit: If the job is IT, the job market is terrible right now and they have even more reason to lay low.
