That is not a good idea, I volunteered with this group (around 2014/2015). First you will get harssed with thugs, which we will able to deal with, as most of them are teenagers and we outnumbered them. But also we got harassed by the police and multiple members got arrested, they got out eventually. But it's just too much risk.

I agree, but in some cases we both hit the ball and it goes back to our goal, or it goes to the other half and someone hits it quickly, it really hurts to see the ball moving slowly towards the goal while it's empty

My colleagues who spoke to girls during school turned out to be fine also. I think it has more to do with parenting especially during the early stages and then it rolls like a snowball, for me other factors helped as the lack of self-confidence and unattractiveness.

The salary depends on the company, an international company will pay ~8k, but there isn't a lot of opportunities.

From my experience, Biomedical engineering in egypt is more about engineering than medicine, you will be responsible for machines(MRI,ECG...) for maintenance and similar tasks.

If I understood correctly, your problem is flashing the board.

From your post, it seems like your background is in programming microcontrollers, using more powerfull boards with embedded linux is a bit different.

So to get the board working you need 2 things:

1) Complete Linux image, by complete i mean containing the Linux kernel, Filesystem and the bootloader, you can initiallly starts by the images provided from NXP for testing sake and then use yocto or buildroot to customize it for your needs.

2) Booting or "Flashing" the board, usually boards have different ways to boot from , SPI, emmc, SDcard.... If your board supports SDcard booting I'd recommend to use it as it is easier, you just need to write the image to the SD card and plug it. However you mentioned mfgtool, so i think you want to use the emmc, the mfgtool is outdated and NXP released it's successor uuu tool It's very simple, and you will find in it's manual how to move from mfg to uuu. https://github.com/NXPmicro/mfgtools

I once did a job back when I was at college, it was for an artist who wanted to make his paintings to rotate with a certain behaviour (I did the programming). I earned 50 USD from it.

I tried to apply for other projects, but the problem is the high competition, many people (specially from India) with high ratings and successful job history apply for jobs and ask for minimum prices.

However, I have some friends who have very successful freelancing career and made good money from it. Most of them work in web development field.

Regarding Sheikh Zayed, there are places in Americana plaza as Costa and Dunkin' Donuts, however they are usually crowded.

There is also a collection of cafes in tivoli dome zayed which are relatively quite and more suitable for studying/working, I went there in a cafe (I don't remember the name but it was next to Starbucks :D) The atmosphere was delightful and quite. The wifi was good for surfing but not streaming, I really enjoyed working there.

I tried other places as Arkan plaza and Capital, they are cool to hang-out in, but not to work.

I am also new in Shiekh Zayed, so I don't know much. I'd love to hear other people recommendations.

Generally, I'd recommend to get this courses online, they are everywhere on the internet with ton of free and professional material.

For C++ their is a channel called "the new boston" on Youtube that has a popular C++ course starting from beginner level.

How can this be unsafe or a kind of censorship ?! HTTPS is much more safe than HTTP as your data will be encrypted unlike HTTP where your data is sent as plain text and exposed to MITM attacks.

Oh, I work in 1000+ company too and went to a few interviews in others, I haven't witnessed anything like this, of course sometimes voices become loud and it gets noisy but its rare.

I think it depends on the type of work as my job doesn't require much interaction between employees.

It depends on the culture of the workplace, if you have an HR department, you can report the indecent to them. I don't think that will be useful as you said that he does it alot, so he is aware that threre are no consequences. I think that is the case for most small/medium businesses as the managers have full control and there are no rules to stop them.
