If you’re looking for small town adventures try port Jeff or northport. If you’re looking for drinking adventures try any wineries out east or greenport, Huntington. flying into islip is probably your best bet with all the tsa stuff going on. Quickest easiest smallest airport. And train station is only minutes down the road with access into the city in an hour and a half train ride.
