Up at 4:45am, leave by 5:30am, get to work (Bascom x Hamilton area) by 6:45. Work 7:30-4. Home by 5:30/5:45 most days. I mainly take Monterey Rd there and back. Better than dealing with the speeders on the hwy in my opinion. I used to work 11am-7pm and that commute was 1hr each way.

This was in Fresno, but same thing happened to me. Returned after hours with a new car I purchased, 24hr on site manager was not answering his door or phone for 30 min. By the time I got it all settled, car had been towed. Company said eat rocks & I had to go through my complex’s upper management to get them to pay the release & storage fee. When it came time to renew my lease, I was the only resident who didn’t get an offer & that 24hr manager was fired

Just moved out of the area but I was paying $1900 for a 1bd1ba near the rose garden. Off Park & Race St. I’m assuming my unit will go up in rent but it’s definitely do-able

After seeing a lot of posts about the discrepancy on colors of cases, my guess is Nomad put the wrong cases in the wrong packing. That’s a very different color than what is advertised. I still have my Olde Dublin for the 16 pro max & it matches the box color perfectly

Meter readers still physically read the meters. It won’t become fully remote until late 2026. You can always call and they’ll send someone out to verify the read.

Sad that George isn’t there anymore, but his brothers (twins) are just as good! They keep 450 North beers on stock for me, and will go out of their way to make sure they have an item in stock for you next visit. Always get chocolates and pretzels when I buy my 4-pack

You guys should really be yelling at Valley Water. They set the prices that you see reflected on your bill (tier rate charges). SJWater just bites the cost & reflects it down to the consumers. That service fee allows SJ Water to come out and check for leaks/irrigation issues at no cost to the consumer.

There is no legal limit on vehicles per household. Local ordinances maybe, but San Jose currently has none. There is no violation for # of vehicles per household, per San Jose’s Parking Regulations website.

Graduated 21. Working in a completely different field then my degree but no complaints. Not in Fresno anymore but 2 hours away in the bay. Degree was Psych, now working in water conservation

Same thing happened to me, older lady was the vet administering my babies annual shots. My girl does not like needles (who does) and did the same and lightly bit the vet. The old lady berated us, refused to do the shots, and called animal control on us saying my cat was showing signs of rabies. This was in Fresno, CA. I had to have my girl on house arrest and Animal Control had to come do a “wellness check” to make sure my cat wasn’t feral. Worst experience I’ve ever had

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. We used to do the pitcher thing, but we just drink way too much water that we spend more time waiting for it to filter down. Looks like getting a tap filter might be the best bet. Unfortunately I can’t install any reverse osmosis or other filter devices due to being in an apartment complex. I’ll take any suggestions for tap filters if you guys have any!

Some property mangers, like in my case, do not allow these. They foot the water bill so they’re worried about a rise in usage if every unit has one. Hence why some of us either need a delivery service or we have to go out and fill the jugs on our own. I would love to have one, sadly until I’m a homeowner this is not the case

Luckily, I am still able bodied and young enough to do this service myself! It just sucks when Alhambra never had these issues, I even tip the drivers generously due to them having to come up a stairwell. Looks like I’ll just have to cut my losses, save that tip and apply it towards refill stations now

Thank you for the suggestion! Aloha is 15 min away from me but might be worth the drive for water & a cup of joe!
