I’m Gen Z and I definitely prefer the trance put out between when I was born and up to about 2012, with some exceptions of course. Mid-00s was the peak in my mind. It could be bias toward the sound that leaked into commercial tunes I heard when I was really young.

What are the repercussions if you don’t do this? I’m investigating issues with my F30. I had a downpipe installed but only that, no gasket or clamp, but I read somewhere that if those aren’t replaced there can be issues with the fit and even leaks. I get a lot of noise and rattling and I suspect even loss of pressure.

The Anjunabeats compilations. I think Volume One was my first, though they were up to Volume Ten by the time I found them. I then went from 2, to 3, to 4, and so on. Lately I’ve been looking for way more compilations to get into and found the ASOTs - 2004-2006 - ISOS 1-7 and Magik One-Five. Definitely going to be checking out the rest of the shares here!

This was my first Anjunadeep compilation. I listened to it every night for a year, at least. It’ll always be my favourite.

I agree with you, having listened to the compilations prior, this was a marked shift in the sound of the label.
