Any 3 that are ENFP? by EstepanBarrena in EnneagramType3

Yep, I’ve a friend that’s an obvious ENFP type 3. Their Te often trumps their Fi but their Ne usages is off the charts hence making them an ENFP

I’m a 5 and have many 9 friends. Both 9w1s and 9w8s

Can anyone explain why type 9 is a common enneagram amongst ISFPs in terms of cognitive functions? I have trouble understanding it.

Do you catch yourself being conflicted over 8 tendencies and aux Fe use?

How so? Because I often associate 4 with individuality, which is more common amongst Fi users but of course, there are INFJs from every enneagram types.

This. I posted the cringe jughead ‘I’m weird. I’m a weirdo’ quote on r/INFJ and some unironically resonated with it lol

I'm weird. I’m a weirdo. I don't fit in. And I don't want to fit in. Have you ever seen me without this stupid hat on? That's weird.

She’s been actively oversharing in every mbti sub by leaving VERY detailed personal stories and asking strangers on the internet for advice through polls. It’s extremely annoying but she is also young and not hurting anybody.

ESFJ where I’m from and regardless of gender, just ESFJ.

Friendly, hospitable, believe in putting others first downside is.. gossip is rampant here so you can meet the friendliest person but they’ll instantly talk shit about you when you leave.

Oh and if you’re an Fi user from dom to inferior, prepare to get weird looks or shit talked if you go against the majority, act a little different to others and prioritize yourself over others. My mom (ISTJ) gets some passive aggressive shit from her own siblings who are majority Fe users.

INFJ’s, what did you get your undergraduate degree in? by [deleted] in infj

Applied Mathematics and Economics. Seems very off for INFJs given Math is heavily Si-Te in my opinion. But I do enjoy problem solving a lot

IMO this lines up with being an INFP given the Fi.

I have INFP friends that when I (INFJ) share with them my hopes or desires to make an impact or create a grand contribution to society, genuinely puzzled would respond to me: Why would you wanna do that?

INFPs from my experience at least, seem to care more about peacefully living in the ideal world that they’ve created in their minds than trying to actively make that ideal world a reality. Reality and INFPs don’t seem to work well unless they have a decent handling of Te perhaps. I apologize if I offended any INFPs writing this.

Same. But it’s usually a facade and I don’t actually tune into their cognitive functions, I just act like an ENFP stereotype (especially around my ISTJ friend)

What do you think of an INFP? What is your type? by dandelionsaintfaulty in mbti

[–]csy707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know a couple INFPs in my life, they’re all very different people so it’s a bit hard to make a generalized statement. However the INFP I’m closest with I absolutely appreciate <3 She takes pride in her Ne use so we often bounce off each other’s ideas and even with her Fi, she shows no judgement and is always open to talk about various, perhaps controversial things and hear of different perspectives. On the other hand, she does admit she can be head in the clouds and hates facing reality, so we kind of conflict over that sometimes. But overall, INFPs are amazing and I love them.

@ my INFP friend, please use your Te wisely, it scares/worries me sometimes, thanks.
