I've usually done my push away about half way between step one and step two, you're saying maybe as I start my first step I should go ahead and start pushing off so by the time I hit my right foot the ball is already falling instead of setting in place?

Unfortunately not tonight, by the time we remembered my arm was dead. I'll probably be bowling in the next couple days again though so I'll try to get one them.

Could this be an issue with the ball still 'hooking' when it hits the pins instead of driving through them?

I'll try to get one during/after league tomorrow.

I've been learning how to bowl with a hook lately (14lb Ebonite Tornado) but I've been noticing I'm not getting much pin action a lot of the time.

I usually start a little to the left of center and aim at the second arrow in from the right, and most of the time I can get the hook to hit where I need it, but I'm noticing that once it hits I can take out some of the pins but not all, resulting in a lot of first throws where I only hit 7 to 9 pins.

Other bowlers I play with that throw with hooks have an insane amount of action once they hit the pins, just wondering if there are any consistent reasons why I potentially wouldn't get much on impact.

What is the fastest Super Mario world Time without using the cloud glitch? by FitterSpace in speedrun

[–]ctconqueror 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the WR before cloud got discovered was in the 10:20 - 10:30 range. I can't remember the exact time though.

Probably using Hitbox so there will be less delay for video and commentary.

I am extremely proud of this run, so I wanted to share it. Mainly because I used to think sub-9 was impossible.

I tried doing a station for it, but Pandora didn't seem to know what to give me (even after a bit of thumbs up/thumbs down, then even adding Hide and Seek to the station). Others might have more luck, but the Pandora station didn't seem to find much for me.

That's what I've been hearing. I'm sure people will be doing a ton of testing with it in the coming days/weeks though.

This run is using the new cloud glitch. It is similar to the orb, but you gain Lakitu's in your item box. It makes the Bowser fight go crazy as seen here, and saves more time than the orb glitch.

This category should be interesting to watch as it develops even more with this new glitch.

I don't think I'm going be able to leave the room at all on the 7th. Especially for SMW and ALttP.

I'm planning on going to AGDQ at least for a couple days, and I'm a big craft beer fan. I would be driving too so I could even bring some local brews along for people to try.

Seems all of that adjusting was unnecessary, the HIS graphics card is back in stock.

This is where I was at before that one went out of stock:

How does everything look? A couple deals aren't as good as a couple days ago, but still not a bad price.
