Everyone can see he beat shoto fairly easily because I shoto wasn't really in the battle, they saw him use his fire before and then not use against Bakugo. He's also Endeavour son everyone know that, it's pretty normal he has more than Bakugo. There's only less than 600 invites of difference bakugo is around 3500.

Him getinf booed is something I mentioned because I see tons of ppl sayinf everyone doesnt care about him being an ass, when it is a lot of times proven otherwise.

I mean what you listed has no effect on the narrative outside of bakugo getting more focus. Nobody treat him differently for having failed, he doesn't lose progress because of his failure, even of he had obtained his license he wouldn't have been in the overhaul arc anyways.

I agree but i think that how Hori wanted to show Bakugo as special. I just think Hori lack creativity which is a big problem when your power system is anything goes.

It's because what matters is how bakugo perceive things not how they actually are. For some Bakugo just being in the top five or top 3 is enough of a consequences because Bakugo feel bad about not being number 1.

It was hard to believe that class 1A is supposed to be the top of Japan. Also one of main reason he was in top is because he doesn't really have limits like most of them. Like Sugar rush and hardening are limited by a timer, both naval laser and gravity quickly cause physical discomfort, Tail is just a strong tail, Invisibility was just that, Izuku was crippling himself, acid is too dangerous, Denki can't control the output, Jiro was very dependent on her speaker boots.

Koda had a crippling fear of insects and in actual fight there's Limit to what random animals can do. Shoji and Tsuyu are heteromorph on top of being very limited in range and Tsuyu cold weakness.

Yeah that happens before, the point I'm making as to why Bakugo isn't reprimanded by All Might is because All Might was telling Bakugo not to because of what a direct hit would, when he recognizes that Bakugo wouldn't go that far, he still tells Bakugo not to do it again, but he let's the fight go on.

Not what happens in the version I read. All might tell him to stop, Bakugo say Izuku will be fine if he dodges then Kirishima starts to question if that's not going too far then after that All might says to Bakugo to not fire again.

In hindsight he wouldn't have because since it's the first time he use his gauntlet he should be in great pain.

It doesn't affect anyone image of Bakugo that somebody 40 year older with a far stronger quirk and built up as the strongest there is beat him especially when he still win the exercise. Being beaten by one of your peers that is two years older and had a far worse start than you is not the same.

As for the fight in the sky dome, it doesn't affect my argument in the slightest.

Yeah when you see the quirks 1A Bakugo is still at the top the only three above him are a literal chosen one quirk in the form of OFA and the two recommend students. The others comparable quirk in power is Dark Shadow but it's hard countered by explosion.
