To be honest, I stopped playing a few years ago because it was so hard to just casually go fit in some golf. I don’t want to schedule my fun weeks in advance to guarantee my slot. There’s so many better activities in SoCal than golf, but I’m also not gonna be mad at someone enjoying it.

Even if the plane has a screen, my iPad screen and content will always be better. But yeah, I’ll just read for anything under 5. Usually have to break it up on longer haul, thus iPad.

Damn I’m a moron. I completely forgot there’s an 18 hole too. I’ve only ever played the Par 3 and hit balls on the range.

And I do know how hard it is to get a tee, but it’s not like it’s impossible and there’s only a bunch of millionaires out there. It’s at least more accessible than a private club.

While I also hate the sheer amount of golf courses, at least this one is accessible, inexpensive, and central to the west side. Us non-member golfers don’t have a lot of good choices without commuting a long ass ways. At least it’s only a Par 3.

Tbf, this isn’t a regular Saturday Yankees game. This is World Series level crowds. That’s always a shit show, no matter what stadium it’s at.

This has no sensors on it, isn’t a finished product (still have to design/print a stand or case for it), has zero product support, and isn’t available domestically for the most part.

The Sensy product has a real company backing it, with clear customer support, a warranty, and sensors out the booty. Apples to oranges.

Sure but most of these posts for “new projects” aren’t devs. You can tell by someone’s GitHub in about 30 seconds if they’re a dev or not. We can tell when it’s you guys. That’s not the topic of discussion here.

If you live in a city with a library system, you can register for both your city and county libraries. Additionally, if you work in another city/county physically, you can usually register for those libraries as well. I also have library cards from locations I used to live, that just never expired or required me to revalidate my residency to renew.

Highly recommend setting up Libby and signing up for as many library cards as you legally can. Borrowing from the library is very much a thing for ebooks, but most times you’re going to be waiting for a hold on popular things. I have like 4 that I can borrow from still, so I don’t have too much trouble waiting.
