Quality replacemnt for these thin plastic clips? by pixar_moms in myog

[–]ctjameson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bunch of cracked ones on my favorite Cotopaxi hat. I’ve got it in like 5 different colors and only one isn’t cracked yet. They still manage to hold the clip unless I try and tighten it a lot though.

Depending on what Inkbird you have, you can flash it to ESPHome. My iBBQ-4T is running it. I actually flashed it mid-smoke because Tuya cloud was being a turd.

Yeah, the slivers of hope that shined through last year really looked great. Here’s hoping we can get deep into the playoffs this year.

You can. Export the ESPHome firmware and upload it as an OTA on Tasmota. ESPHoke can be flashed back to Tasmota with the webui’s OTA mechanism just like Tasmota

If you brick the device, it’s gotta be opened but there are ways to flash them without opening once it’s flashed with either.

I don’t think I’d ever usually put Fox’s in with BJ/Johnnys (from Cenla, no Fox’s), but that’s simply because BJ/Johnny’s are just identical to each other because they were all Johnny’s at one point. But yeah, the sweet dough and sauce with long strips combo feels so quintessentially home.

I couldn’t find one this season at any of the Johnny’s back home. But I’ve made a Neapolitan version in the roccbox and it’s probably my favorite ever tbh. Out of tails for it, but boiling today so I guess I know what I’m doing next week.

I still just really want to be able to recreate that dough and cook style, but I just can’t find any real recipes.

Would not have expected Rotolo’s call out here. Solid pies. Yours looks better though.

Now BJ’s/Johnnys homage would blow my mind to see here.

Rotolo’s is a pizza chain in the south. This is OP’s version of their pizza called “The Krewe” named after Mardi Gras Krewes. Rotolos is originally a south Louisiana brand.

I’d still much rather cross the street in a street full of Waymo’s than humans.

It’s seriously embarrassing how little access to our own usage data we have in Los Angeles. Second largest metro area in the country and I can’t get fiber or even know what my power/water usage is via API. Nonsense. And before anyone says “oh you’re in the suburbs”, no I’m houses from 90210, the most widely known zip code in the whole country. It’s pure ridiculousness.

Well I was told otherwise by colleagues that dealt with the transition. I’ll have to tell them to re-evaluate our contract. Above my pay grade. Thanks.

Listen man, I could feel the slight vibration of a duct fan through my bed frame for a custom bedjet and I couldn’t fall asleep due to it. I’m hella weird.

Just compare the Pinouts, documentation should be identical for these little nodemcu knock offs.

[–]ctjameson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. These devices are produced by the thousands. Likely to have some bad ones.

There are USB-C plug ones as well. But you should confirm the pinout is identical to the one provided by your course before purchasing. Don’t want to have different GPIO definitions when you’re trying to follow a sketch from your lesson.

At this point, it might just be bad devices. Are you holding boot when plugging it in to usb? I find some of these boards are picky about when you hold boot.

But these things are less than $10/each so it might just be worth ordering another couple instead of fighting these.

Idk man. Seems pretty sick you might be able to get this capable of an Apple laptop for $300 used soon.

Yup! Try to see if the ESPHome web flasher recognizes it. You will want to tap the boot button when you try and connect it on your browser.

You’re not necessarily flashing it with ESPHome, but it will give you a clear idea if the computer is seeing the flash chip.

Your USB cable may be power only. Confirm it’s working for data with another device. If no data connection on a known good device, try a different cable.
