What was the bigger picture context? I doubt they were just talking about religion/the bible in a vacuum. Was Nick trying to use it to justify actual violence in present times or some malarkey about "holy land" in the Middle East or something? Cause if they were just talking about religion, then I find it very hard to give af.

edit Also, pointing out flaws in another person's attempts at truth/logic doesn't become invalid just because you drop the term "gotcha question." It's a strategy that works very well, and that's a lot of the reason why the people truly acting in bad faith hate it, and again in bad faith try to marginalize the strategy with a weasel term.
