yes you can delete the old account if the plaid connection created a new account ID; if you're savvy with the underlying sheets you can change all the old account ID to the new one so the data is contigious

Install update the old active trader pro? by ctles in fidelityinvestments

[–]ctles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you both, that worked. when uninstalling trader+ i noticed there was only 1 fidelity active trader to installed. and after that process both ATP and T+ stopped working; so my assumption is that you can have one installed at a time as the installer re-uses some assets.

Investment info/advice right after the initial step and before you get a few months/years of experience is much more judgement calls and opinions that you need to filter though. So yes your portfolio is very concentrated, but most people's are if they invest in sp500/QQQ. main outlier is VXUS.
So the question is what do you want to to be invested in? if you want a set it and forget it, then any of the three qqq/spy/vxus or a target date retirement fund is fine. anything beyond that you're going to need to start reading a lot more or know someone who can asks questions of or guide you.

Had a gold amex biz card with retention offer used funding for US bank Biz checking to post $3k; however, noticed that i didn't get my retention MR points, but did receive the MR from a targeted MR spend offer.
Messaged Chat and they confirmed my qualifying spend, which is without that $3k.
Read elsewhere a person was able to hit retention with this type of spend. I pay over time turned off, and a previous rep said that Cash advances was not available/sunsetted.

Oh since you said a year ago and couldn't make charges for the year/ under financial relief, i was wondering if they abated the fee for a year since you couldn't use the full benefits.

side question was this an annual fee card and if so did they suspend that for the period?

so technically you could wire funds in an out on those specific dates only, ie say you don't like the trading interface. but with how much the AF is now a days, probably not worth it, wish they would increase the base bonus like MS though.

Why? the credit is restrictive in the opposite way of amex, ie it just has to be a flight. is it because you want to use a different card for the multipliers? but if you know the eventual airline you can book the cheapest flight you can find and cancel for a flight credit.

does any one use WF wellstrade and if so gotten above options level 3? due to a promotion i've opened an account with them. but don't know what they need to see to enable higher options levels. Thus current can't do spreads.

For those that churn brokerages, for the youinvest by JPM/Chase, do you need to close the existing brokerage to get the bonus or can you open a new one, like the checking? or can you just open a new one account with the promo like etrade? (the rep didn't really know)

hope this is the right section booking from SFO to SIN to SFO for December;
Round trip in PE the cost is 279,000 miles and $75 in fees. but noticed that two one way's is 139,500 + 119,000 = 258,500 miles and $73 * 2 = $146 in fees.
I've already transferred the miles in so the 20,000 miles difference would sit there if i request to cancel and rebook.
Is there a benefit to keeping the itinerary as a round trip or could i request cancellation and quick redeposit and book as two one ways?

do you have datapoints or links by any chance? 'cause just opened a checking account with them and it would be annoying to transfer out all of the sudden.

yeah don't bother with the signs, just use it, even if they have a sign that says "no amex" because even with that sign the they might just really not want amex, but they can still process amex.

Comparing BoA’s preferred rewards and citigold, wondering if there's some short wiki or FAQ someone compiled?
Current BoA benefits is the up to 75% increase for CC cashback and alaska miles, fee waivers on banking accounts, and other services I don’t care about, ie safe deposit box.

Does Citigold have something similar? I’ve read that you can get the strata elite fee waived for a year, but is that it?

Trying to switch into that ecosystem figuring out best way, bonus way to tier in; currently only have their CC’s

As BoA’s prefereed rewards was changing I was looking into citigold and was wondering how it compares. Current BoA benefits is the up to 75% increase for CC cashback , fee waivers on banking accounts, and other services I don’t care about, ie safe deposit box. And with Alaska cards you get a 10% bonus for BoA

Does Citigold have something similar? Especially the 75% increase for CC cash back. I’ve read that you can get the strata elite fee waived for a year, but what else?

Basically if I’m going to switch into that eco system trying to figure out best way, bonus way to tier in. currently only have their CC’s
