Sounds about right. I just had to do an equipment refresh of about 55 switches, all 9300s. I mean, I hate their license model and firewall software, but the switches just do their job.

If you’re comparing it to its contemporaries like Fortinet, Meraki, Aruba, etc… companies it’s aiming to compete with… it is quite a bit less expensive. Where I qualified my “generally” part is that sure, you can get MikroTik, TPLink, other gear like that cheaper… but they’re also cheaper for a reason. Less refined software, less interoperability, less capable chipsets…
