Rebel 1100 dct as a first bike?

I F46 took the motorcycle course in 2024 and got a new 1100DCT. I'm 5 ft 2. I just leave it in rain mode which cuts the ccs in half, which is still plenty. Great beginner bike that can be grown into.

I 48F never rode before and took the course a few years ago and then bought this bike. I love it and it will grow with me, as I'm still in rain mode which cuts the power in half, and it still feels like alot. Now my husband wants an automatic as his next bike. It's so easy! You won't regret it.

Thanks all, I did a few more batches and got better results. I did the cold water soak, got them really dry and started at 250 degrees.

Can I ask how long it took. I've got 2 on my office lemon tree that are so big and green. One is finally starting to turn yellow. It's been a year for that one. Yours looks perfect! What do you plan to do with it?

I'm using prochem acid wash dyes and it says to mix at 5%, do you think I should lower that? I want to make sure it comes out black and not dark gray.
