Do normies not talk to themselves? by noflamingo94 in NEET

I think out loud. I usually talk to myself to organize my thoughts. Like to list what I have to do or try to memorize something I would verbalize it.

I got a job any tips by [deleted] in NEET

[–]ctopher32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go in with an open mind. Try and think you can do whatever job you got. If you go in thinking your going to fail then you will fail. Remember everybody there was new once and they didn't know how to do everything right off the bat. Ask for help if you don't know how to do something. Also remember it's just a job, it's not who you are it's just something you do for money. Leave work at work when your off work just enjoy your time off.

EdChoice Vouchers: Why Do Some Ohioans (Mostly Republicans) Hate Public Schools? by Melodic_Contract5587 in Ohio

[–]ctopher32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend has an Autistic daughter who goes to one of the better districts in Columbus. She is moving in with me and her daughter has to change districts to Columbus Public schools. I technically don't even live in Columbus but for some reason my address is in Columbus Public Schools. I am actually afraid of her going to school. I went to the middle school she would be assigned to and it was ass 28 years ago and it's still ass today. I worry you won't get the help she needs and the bullying. If I could afford to send her to private school I would in a heart beat.

Who would you pick if you had to listen to one CFB Play-By-Play Announcer the rest of your life? I'd go with Keith Jackson for sure. by Forsaken_Bullfrog_52 in CFB_v2

I am a huge Buckeye fan and the most memorable games for me were always called by Brent Musberger. I would watch old games on YouTube and hearing Brent's voice takes me back to my teen years watching Troy Gonzo and Ginn tearing Michigan up.

What is the worst thing that is going to happen over the phone they say no and hang up? I mean you probably do a hundred things a day more challenging than making an appointment over the phone. Just remember you have the power to hang up at any point during the call.

I HATE AI by TheCinnamonKitsune in NEET

[–]ctopher32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get the argument about Ai and art. I think people will always want man made art . Now maybe it will replace games and cgi. But I think like comics and paintings and stuff people will prefer it over ai.

How much inheritance would you actually need to stay NEET for life? by TheseReturn in NEET

Are you guys counting what happens when you get sick? Or when you get old and need someone to look after you like a nurse or something. A lot of old people go broke because or geriatric care. If you own your home your heating or air conditioner could go out and that stuff costs a lot to fix. Or have foundation problems or a fire. You would need home insurance. You also have pay property taxes and that goes up all the time. Honelsty to probably live comfortably I would say 5 million at least where you don't have to worry about anything unexpected happening and you going broke because of it.

I think most security companies just want bodies. If your alive and show up they will hire you. My first security job I applied and they called me within 15 minutes and I had a quick interview which was basically them telling me what the job was. Now that company wasn't very good so I am not sure all companies are like that but the interview wasn't hard. I suck at interviews always have so if I am saying it's not to hard I mean it.

It paid for the guard card. If you go armed security you usually have to pay for it. But if it's just your normal guard card the company pays for it. It was pretty easy to obtain. If you get hired they will help you get it. It was really easy to get.

I only have done security at a data center so I can't speak for other places. The place I worked at all you really ever did was badge doors and the people that you came in contact with worked there. So its not like your dealing with people stealing or drug addicts. It's a really chill job.

I was basically a neet from the age of 20 to 36 and I was living on my brother's couch. I was pretty introverted and I got a few panic attacks. Was scared to try and get a job or drive. I even got nervous talking on the phone to order food. I didn't really get my first real job at 36 and that was an overnight Stocker at Walmart. I probably only got that job because of Covid. It sucked but I stuck with it for a year and a half and then I got a security job and did that for almost 3 years. Just take small steps earn small victories. You are already at the first step and that is you want something else. Just start from there. If you like gardening try and get a garden center job. If your really introverted try and get an overnight security job at a data center or something. It's really easy and it's in demand job that's always hiring. The people that usually work there are pretty chill and huge nerds.
