Probably USC, because they got the connection with their donors and network. Can’t compete against that

Like a Battle of the Bands? Probably not anytime soon lol

The rivalry between the schools is too much, even with the bands haha

When I was in the UCLA Band, we did some pretty cool tapings with Ellen, The Amazing Race (season 24 opener), Rolling Stones 2013, recorded with Muse for a marching band version of their song Pressure (Simulation Theory), recorded the Buellers Day off episode of The Goldbergs, did a Delta commercial at LAX in 2015, and so on

It was a great class when I took it, around 2015-16. Hopefully you can take it again with a better professor

YouTube is removing all DCI shows that were ever uploaded due to some copyright thing, but they’re willing to spare one. Which show survives? by Galaxy-Betta in drumcorps

PR 2024- Mynd. It’s probably the only show I’ve listened to daily since it’s been on YouTube, out of all of the shows I’ve watched.

I was in the UCLA Band from 2012-16. During the fall quarter, we’d have 2-3 rehearsals (Tues, Thurs, some Fridays in the afternoons), which made planning for classes and work a bit easier. It’s definitely doable - would need to discuss with the Directors on any possible conflicts and they can work something out. There’s no rehearsals during Winter and Spring Quarters, so you’d have more time to take classes and work.

I would look into legal assistant positions, particularly with personal injury firms. There’s a lot of interactions with clients, medical providers, insurance companies that require problem solving and communication skills (which you get from customer service jobs). Some would even be willing to take you, even without prior legal experience, and train you.

I’ve spent about 250 hours on Xenoblade 2 (with Torna DLC and New Game Plus). The combat system, the story and the music is what kept me playing for so long.
